Starry Sky - Yak and Sheep Wool Necklace Traditional Craft | Ethnic | Natural Fibre | Personalized Necklace
This necklace is made by stringing together yak wool balls and artifical stones. The woolen balls are called "Kudol" in our local language. They are made by rubbing together the fine hairs under the neck of juvenile yaks. These hairs are scarce and rubbing them takes a lot of effort.
The design inspiration for this necklace comes from the starry sky on the grassland, symbolizing dualism and cosmic balance. Wear this necklace on your neutrally colored outfit so its contrasting brown and white colors will set off the larger simplicity.
